Along with the day lilies,  July in my garden is dominated by the daisy shape.  Here are a few to enjoy.                                                                                                           photo

And the iconic Shasta daisy, “Becky.”                                                                        photo                        Helenium, or Sneezeweed as it’s inelegantly called.                     photo

Blanket flower, or Gaillardia, “Arizona Apricot”                                                                         photo(I’m leaving coneflowers for another day, despite their daisy-likeness. They deserve their own post.)

Question for you all: Are you happy with how much information I give on plant names?  I erratically give full Latin names and have only sporadically named cultivars.  If you prefer to be fully informed, please let me know in comments and I’ll make an effort to be more consistently detailed.  Otherwise, I’ll continue in naming only what I remember off the top of my head!
