We had big winds and hard rains over the past few days that smashed plants, uprooted huge trees, took out the power(& internet!) and created misery for many people.

It also brought new worlds into view when long-dead limbs fell and revealed . . .                                   . . .  A mini universe of lichen and fungus, with meticulously brushed fur that devours its host.Who needs a zombie apocalypse?
